Busan is South Korea’s second city, situated on the south-east coastal corner of the peninsular.
While it hosts around 4.5 million people, it is famously spread out between the large hills, with the result that a number of different “down town” shopping and restaurant centers are at some distance from each other.
Accordingly, vegan restaurants and places with veggie-friendly options are also largely spread far apart too.
There are, however, some really great eating options available, very much worth making the effort to reach in special trips. Whether the daily fresh-vegetable, single menu option of the tiny Nayuta Cafe north of PNU, or the extensive broad menu of the character-filled Loving Hut down south west and along from the Gideok baseball stadium.
